THE PLACE SHIPS DRIFT INTO SILENTLY

The funnel is how the platform decides what anyone ever sees: a documented, staged pipeline that narrows everything down to roughly a hundred candidates before a single quality model runs. Most content that vanishes was never rejected — it simply never survived retrieval, and no signal tells you which happened.

The real threat, in plain terms

MOST LOST SHIPS WERE NEVER EVEN SCORED

The platform documents its recommendation pipeline as four stages: gather the inventory, narrow it with a lightweight retrieval model to about a hundred candidates, predict relevance, then order by predicted value. Between retrieval and prediction sits an integrity filter that removes non-recommendable content entirely. A channel classified as unoriginal doesn't rank lower — its ships never enter the funnel for non-followers at all. And similarity to existing content is itself a documented ranking input: cargo that resembles a sea of other cargo competes against that resemblance.

  1. R1

    The narrowing

The retrieval stage is the bottleneck that matters. Everything downstream operates on the ~100 survivors — content that doesn't make the cut is never scored, never ranked, never seen.

  2. R2

    The filter

The integrity filter is where the originality classification lands: non-recommendable content is removed from the recommendation path before prediction ever runs. No strike, no notice, no entry in account status.

  3. R3

    The toll booth

Past the funnel waits the coin gate: monetization eligibility, gated on the same originality standing at both account and content level. Reach and revenue fail together, from the same cause — no growth and no income.

The instruments that keep ships inside the funnel

STANDING IS EARNED BEFORE LAUNCH

ORIGINALITYSCORE + SENTINEL — STANDING AND WEATHER

You cannot argue with a retrieval model, and you will never see its decision. What you can control is the standing your channel brings to it. OriginalityScore keeps the channel's output on the right side of the integrity filter — original by construction, measured continuously on your side of the wall. Sentinel reads the published rules: which signals the platform says it ranks on, what it declares non-recommendable, and when those declarations change. The funnel stays a current you ride, not a wall you hit.

NEVER FILTERED

Inside the funnel by right

The integrity filter removes the unoriginal. A fleet whose every ship is original by construction has nothing for the filter to catch.

SIMILARITY, MANAGED

Cargo that isn't a sea of sameness

Similarity to other content is a documented ranking input. Generating from sources — instead of copying them — is what keeps each ship competing on its own hull.

RULES AS WEATHER

Read, not guessed

The platform publishes its signal categories and keeps the weights secret — by design. Sentinel tracks what is actually published, so strategy rests on the documented, not the rumored.

The doctrine

The funnel sends no rejection letters. A ship that loses at retrieval looks exactly like a ship nobody wanted — so the only defense is standing you maintain before launch, never an appeal you file after the silence.

WHY STANDING IS A GATE, NOT A GRIEVANCE
